FidPick 2024 Fast Approaching
A few quick updates to keep in mind for our next event, always the 4th Sunday in August, which is 8/25/24 this year.
1. We heard great feedback about all of the food and art vendors on site this year and we plan to continue expanding what FidPick can be: a gathering place for our community of musicians and music appreciators. If you have any suggestions for vendors, please follow up with us!
2. We WILL have more portapotties next year. Our turnout for 2023 was record-breaking and, now that we know how many folks could show up, we will be prepared
3. The band contest was another big hit from 2023 and we plan to continue hosting the Kansas State String Band Competition in 2024. Stay tuned for registration materials as space is limited for how many bands we can fit into our Sunday time frame. If we get outsized interest, we might have to think about a different option for the selection process and competition process.
